Settings hold organization-wide configuration: identity, defaults, optional features, the Shopify app used for OAuth installs, and the destructive actions. They live under System → Settings.
In the admin
01 Organization
- Edit Name or Slug (lowercase letters, numbers and dashes).
- Fill in Default locale, Default channel and Default currency (an ISO code such as
USD). - Under Optional features, tick Content pages to add a Content section to the sidebar. If your plan doesn’t include it, the box is disabled and says Not included in your current plan.
- Click Save changes. After content pages are saved on, the content types panel appears below the checkbox.
02 OAuth apps
The Shopify App block stores the Client ID, Client secret and Scopes (comma-separated) for the Connect to Shopify install flow, and shows the Callback URL to paste into your Shopify app’s allowed redirection URLs. Click Save (or Update). Leave Client secret blank on update to keep the existing one.
03 Danger zone
- Wipe catalog: type
WIPEand click Wipe everything. The result lists how many rows of each kind were removed. - Delete organization: type the organization’s slug and click Delete tenant. If connectors are installed, the page warns you first.
With the API
| Method | Path | What it does |
|---|---|---|
GET / PATCH | /v1/organizations/me | Read or update name, slug and settings |
POST | /v1/catalog/wipe | Wipe catalog; body { "confirm": "WIPE" } |
DELETE | /v1/organizations/{id} | Delete the organization; body { "confirm": "<slug>" } |
GET / PUT / DELETE | /v1/oauth-apps/shopify | Read, save or clear the Shopify app credentials |
curl -X PATCH https://api.minipim.com/v1/organizations/me \
-H 'Authorization: Bearer pim_…' -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
-d '{ "settings": { "default_currency": "EUR", "content_pages_enabled": true } }'
Writable settings keys are default_locale, default_channel, default_currency and content_pages_enabled. GET /v1/organizations/me also returns features.content_pages as { entitled, enabled }; content pages work only when both are true.
Rules and limits
settingsis merged, not replaced, so sending one key leaves the others alone. Unknown keys are dropped.- Default currency is the currency the modifier editor uses for new fixed price adjustments. It does not convert or change existing prices.
- Default locale and Default channel are stored on the organization for your integrations to read. The catalog’s default locale is the one marked default under Locales.
- Turning content pages on creates the content types
page, postandotherplus starter fields such asbody, the first time. See Content pages. - Wipe catalog deletes products, variants, identifiers, media, categories, brands, content pages, modifiers, attributes, families, groups, channels and locales. It keeps connectors, sync history, users, members, API keys and the audit log. It emits
catalog.wiped. - Delete organization exports the organization’s data to storage, then permanently deletes all of it, including members, API keys, connectors and audit history. It never calls your connected stores. See Organizations.
- Neither destructive action can be undone from the admin.
- The client secret is never returned by the API once saved.
